| | The goal of this training is to learn strategies to strengthen families in order to prevent child abuse and neglect while improving the quality of child care. At the end of this session, participants will be able to: (1) learn about the three styles of communication and practice “win-win” methods of guidance; (2) identify how facilities can offer opportunities for parents to gather new information on parenting and to feel safe asking for parenting help; and (3) design a plan to strengthen the parents of the children in their care. | |
